You’ve learned to make the round and oval trivet, now take your skills to the next level by expanding on your original knowledge and creating a tote bag or purse using the same basic technique to start. You can use plain rope, dyed road or fabric covered rope, build up the sides, and add a number of extras such as closures, handles and pockets.
