The Baby Lock Fagoting Bridging Plates Set for 2.5 mm and 5 mm are sewing accessories that keep two pieces of fabric separated at an equal distance. 

This bridging technique, also known as fagoting, or Spanish hemstitching.  The Fagoting or Spanish Hem stitching is most used in heirloom sewing. This technique is where two fabric pieces are joined by threads over an open area.

The Bridging Plate set (BLDY-FP)  includes two plates: 2.5 mm and 5.0 mm.
