Arabella Argyle Notebook Cover
Use your serger to create a modern version of the classic argyle look and turn it into a notebook cover. The design starts with 2in watercolor grid fusible interfacing to create the argyle effect with various serger stitches. Finished closed measurements 7-3/4in x 10in, open measurements 15-1/2in. Fits a standard composition book.
While making this project you’re going to gain many skills and discover exciting techniques you can achieve by using your serger, such as:
- Chainstitch for construction
- Coverstitch with decorative thread for argyle effect
- One step piping
- Elastic pen holder which doubles as the closure
- Built-in Bookmark
Designed using the BERNINA L890 but can be stitched on any machine as long as your serger has the listed stitches and presser feet.
