Celebrating You

On June 5th, 2025 we celebrated our 39th Annual Banquet at Kloc's Grove! It was a night of wonderful community, sewing and charity. Every year, this event reminds us why we do what we do, and this year was no exception.

WNY's Largest Sew & Share

One of the highlights of the evening was our Sew & Share, where guests brought projects they’ve poured their hearts into. From intricate quilts to bags and garments, each piece told a story. Seeing everyone’s work on display was truly inspiring, the talent in our community never ceases to amaze us!

Angel Gowns of WNY

But the evening wasn’t just about celebration, it was also about giving back. We were honored to present a donation to Angel Gowns of WNY, Inc., a remarkable organization dedicated to transforming donated wedding dresses into beautiful burial gowns for babies who have passed away far too soon. 

Thanks to the generosity of our banquet attendees and the support of our Aurora Sewing Center family, $1,761 was donated! It’s a cause that touches the heart of our sewing community, and we’re so grateful to be able to support it.

Threads of Gratitude

As the night came to a close, we were filled with gratitude, for the friendships, the stories shared, the hands that create, and the hearts that give. Thirty-nine years of gathering together, growing, and giving back… what an incredible journey it’s been.

Thank you to everyone who made this evening so special. Here’s to the next stitch in our story, and to celebrating 40 years next year!
